The bible says that “God created the heaven and the earth” (Gen. 1: 1). The apostle Paul gives further clarification when he taught that it was Jesus who was the Creator of the world under the direction of God the Father. “God…hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.” (Heb. 1: 1-2)

Paul, further, talking about the Son of God, said to the Colossians, “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.” (Col. 1: 16)

John, Jesus’ Beloved apostle, taught this of the Savior: “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made… He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not.” (John 1: 3,10,11)

The Book of Moses gives further clarification on who is the creator of the world. “The Lord God said unto Moses: For mine own purpose have I made these things. …And by the word of my power, have I created them, which is mine Only Begotten Son, who is full of grace and truth. And worlds without number have I created; and I also created them for mine own purpose; and by the Son I created them, which is mine Only Begotten” (Moses 1:31–33).
